The United States administers 66.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine: CDC
(Reuters)-The United States received 66,464,947 COVID-19 vaccines domestically and 88,669,035 doses as of Wednesday morning.
Vaccine dose tabulations are for both Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines as of 6 am EST on Wednesday, officials said.
Authorities administered 65,032,083 doses of the vaccine and distributed 82,114,370 doses, according to a tally posted on February 23.
As of Wednesday, 45,237,143 people had one or more doses and 20,607,261 had a second dose, officials said.
A total of 6,724,310 vaccines were given at the long-term care facility, officials said.
