Northern California earthquake: A 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported near Cobb in Lake County, USGS says

COB, CA (KGO) – An initial 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Cobb in Lake County on Tuesday, according to the US Geological Survey.

The earthquake occurred shortly before five in the morning.

The US Geological Survey said the quake had a depth of 0.3 kilometres.

There were no reports of injuries or damage so far.
