Aberdeen Coronavirus Outbreak: Number of Cases Increases to 79

The number of coronavirus cases associated with outbreaks in Aberdeen has increased to 79-and more is expected in the coming days.
Blockage restrictions were imposed in the city on Wednesday after 54 cases of virus were identified.
Nikola Sturgeon, the first prime minister, said 25 more cases have since been confirmed.
An additional 30 cases have been investigated to see if they are linked. 233 contacts are being tracked.
This number “emphasizes why it was so important to take strong and decisive action yesterday to try to curb the outbreak,” Sturgeon said.
“Unfortunately, I expect to stand here tomorrow and report more than today’s growth,” he added.
Aberdeen clusters are linked to the city’s pubs and restaurants. All of these were told to close for at least seven days as part of a local blockade.
