Natalie Portman stopped by “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday to promote her latest project, “Lady in the Lake.”

Portman opted for a strapless Magda Butrym minidress with a sweetheart neckline and ruched skirt, accessorized with sheer tights, studded earrings and black ankle-strap pumps. The “May December” star wore her brunette hair slicked back.
Portman is currently styled by Ryan Hastings, who also counts Anya Taylor-Joy and Taylor Russell among his clients.
“The Lady in the Lake” premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday. With Moses Ingram as partner, the series is based on Laura Lippman’s 2019 novel of the same name and is set in the 1960s.

“I'm glad we don't have to wear these clothes in the summer like we did when we were filming,” Portman said of the show's period costumes. “We wore wool to make it seem like summer was winter, but the clothes are spectacular.”
Costume designer Shiona Turini, who often dresses Beyoncé, worked alongside Portman and Ingram on “Lady in the Lake.” Turini was responsible for the “Cowboy Carter” singer’s costumes during her 2023 international Renaissance Tour.

“The Lady in the Lake” is set in Baltimore, where the series was also filmed.
“Baltimore is a fascinating place and it was really fun to work with so many local cast and crew,” added Natalie Portman. “They helped me with my accent and brought a lot of energy to our show.”
