Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is investigating whether comments made by former President Trump in Glendale on Oct. 31 about former U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney could be considered a “death threat.” FOX 10's Marc Martinez has more.

PHOENIX — Officials with the Arizona Attorney General's Office said they are investigating whether former President Donald Trump's comments about former Rep. Liz Cheney violated state laws.

“The Arizona Attorney General's Office is investigating whether Donald Trump's comments about Liz Cheney violated Arizona law. The office has no additional comment at this time.” we read in the brief press release.

The Associated Press reported on November 1 that Trump was asked at an event the night of October 31 in Arizona with Tucker Carlson whether it was strange to see Cheney campaigning against him.
