SOLOKOMPAS.com – The 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) canceled his attendance at great campaign Governorship candidate couple Ahmad Luthfi and Taj Yasin held at Vastenburg Fort, Kota SoloCentral Java, Sunday (11/17/2024).

“I was not invited. I did not (come),” Jokowi said during his meeting in Soto Triwindu Solo, where he took time to have breakfast with Luthfi and Yasin.
Although he was not present in Solo, Jokowi still lent his support to both candidates by participating in the campaign agenda in Grobogan, Central Java, in the afternoon.
“I didn't come (to Solo) to say prayers. I went with Grobogan's,” he explained.
Governorship candidate number 02, Ahmad Luthfi, explained that this grand campaign aims to maximize the achievement of their vision and mission.
“We will convey the vision and mission, then we will convey the potential of Central Java,” said Luthfi.
He also added that President Jokowi would accompany several campaign programs in various regions.
“There are several agendas with Mr. Jokowi. Later, the regions of Grobogan, Blora will be in order to absorb the aspirations of the people,” he explained.

Previously, Chairman of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of ISP Central Java, Antonius Yoga Prabowo, expressed hope that Jokowi could attend the big campaign in Solo.
“Regarding the exact timeline of whether Mr. (Jokowi) will resign or not, we are still waiting for confirmation. As a supporting party, we really hope that Mr. Jokowi will participate in the big campaign there,” said Antonius when met. in the village of Semanggi on Thursday (11/14/2024).
