Paris -French health officials warned Thursday that the number of new coronavirus cases is the fastest growing among young people as the number of confirmed infections per day continues to grow.
In mainland France, the growth rate of cases during August 3-9 weeks was the fastest among those aged 15-44, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s DGS public health department called it a “peel situation”. ..
A total of 2,669 tests returned positive in the last 24 hours, adding that it points to “regular growth” in new cases every day.
This is above Wednesday’s 2,524, the highest since May.
