169 cases of coronavirus reported in Carmichael nursing homes
Carmichael’s nursing home reported a total of 169 cases of coronavirus among residents and staff on Friday. An official at the Whitney Oaks Care Center said it conducts weekly tests for all residents and staff. Overall, 94 residents and 75 healthcare providers tested positive for COVID-19. The center said 12 people died of coronavirus-related complications. Subsequently, 64 officials recovered, officials said.
