Essex Coronavirus: Why the county asked me to limit
The new restrictions, which will come into force in most of the county starting tomorrow, have been warned that they could be the “last straw” for some companies.

Dr. Gogarty said: “There is no reason to think that if we do nothing, we will not be in exactly the same position as these areas within three weeks.”
Currently, 62 acute beds in Essex are filled with Covid patients, and 14 people have died since the beginning of September.

She added: “Government financial support has helped, but it cannot last indefinitely. These new measures could be the ultimate straw for some companies that have to stop trading or make staff redundant. There is sex.
