About 242 deaths from the new coronavirus were in China’s Hubei province on Wednesday – the deadliest since it exploded.

The number of cases has also increased tremendously, with 14,840 people being diagnosed with Covid-19.

Hubei has begun to use a broader definition of diagnostics – most of the cases are on the rise.

China uploaded the top two in Hubei province shortly after the new figures were revealed.
