Michael Cunningham, 68, had a strong motivation to lose weight to improve type 2 diabetes. When she was 45, his sister Angela died of complications associated with the disease. “She spent 16 weeks in the intensive care unit, and at one point I remember saying,’I’m not coming out of here,’” says a former Cumbrian principal.

In October 2016, a friend told him about Mosley’s Fast 800 plan. He has heard that it helps improve diabetes. He then signed up for an available support program, while trying to follow a book diet at home with the support of his partner Rachel.
“By January, I was already a little over 14 days and my blood sugar had dropped,” he says. “It was really motivating to see such a quick result, but it was still hard, especially during Christmas, when I didn’t have alcohol.”
At the end of the program, he weighed the eleventh five pounds. “I was a little thin, but it had the desired effect because my diabetes had relieved and I stopped taking the drug,” says Cunningham.
His weight is currently moving between 10 pounds on the 11th and 12 days. The couple maintains a healthy system. “Especially when the blockade went up a few pounds, we now know what to do.
