Drag Queens brings fun twists, and Burger Bar Dining Room remains closed

The Mary’s Hamburger in Andersonville uses one of the most respected burger bar resources to help get things done. Drag queens, a famous sight at an LGBTQ-themed restaurant, have now been deployed to release orders for vehicles parked outside.

“We thought we would do it, do something that sets us apart and have fun with it,” says co-owner Ashley Wright

Known for its burgers and beers, the 18-store chain has locations from west Hollywood to Orlando. Wright says his franchise is the only one doing them, though the Milwaukee location uses drag queens for deliveries. Friends often surprise other friends by ordering delivery without notice. Chicago does not offer shipping.

In March, it was ordered by Gov. J.B. Pritzker all the closing of all restaurant dining, So that forced Wright to think about the future of the restaurant.
