A message sent by a 26-year-old woman named Pham Thi Tra My when she died in a container truck while traveling to Britain last year. He was among 39 Vietnamese found dead in the back of the Essex container. Today, two men have been found charged with multiple felony counts of murder. Along with two other men, people were also found guilty of participating in a smuggling ring. Earlier this year, the ringleader and another truck driver admitted to being involved. This program has been told that the smuggling ring takes people by truck to the UK every week – at least 50 crossings or attempts a year. In recent months we have tried to collect the story of one of the people who drowned in the darkness of that container. The story of 26-year-old Pham Thi Tra My.
