Titanics child actor who only said one line in the movie is still getting royalty checks
James Cameron’s epic romance and disaster saga, Titanic, is one of the most memorable films of all time. The movie still remains one of the top 5 highest earning movies across the world. Titanic is based on a real incident and stars Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet in the lead roles.
The movie was recently in theaters again after completing 25 years and here is an interesting trivia that we bring in its reference.
Remember the kid who was a third class Irish passenger and his dialogue alone broke millions of hearts. Played by Reece Thompson during the shipwreck scene, the kid asks, “What do we do, mommy?” and her mother replies: We were just waiting, my dear. When they’re done putting first-class people in the boats, they’ll start with us, and they want to be ready, don’t they?
This scene shook the audience to the core and guess what the kid is in his thirties now and still getting his royalty checks after 25 years.
The former actor who is now a digital marketing manager in Utah, USA, spoke to Australian Network 10 and shared, “Yeah I still do. [receive royalty cheques], It’s true. Recee added: But I haven’t updated my address in several years, honestly since the last time I was interviewed for this. So I haven’t seen them [the cheques] in a few years. I just guess they always come.”
Reece revealed how his recognition of playing the role has grown over the years.
“It’s interesting, I would say my family and I mostly think it’s interesting that people still find it interesting.” They’re mostly just interesting to read, but yeah, it feels like a dream, it was so long ago. A number of different things [are said]honestly some of the comments i just can’t believe this is happening 25 years later.
Reece added, “Now people are starting to associate my face with that, where before it was a random fact about me, it’s kind of weird.” For the uninitiated, in April 1912, more than 1500 passengers and crew lost their lives after the sinking of the RMS Titanic after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York.

Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily.
