Football, Fashion, and Fun: Northborough Crain Quarantines Best With Coronavirus – Sport – Milford Daily News
On March 29, Amanda Crain compiled a list of coins: Crain Quarantine Spirit Week.
Amanda Crain wanted to raise the spirits of her younger brother Noah during the coronavirus pandemic.
So on March 29, she made a list of coins: Crain Quarantine Spirit Week.
The list, made by artistically displaying the schedule from Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 3, planned themed clothing to be displayed by every member of her six-member family every night.
And five nights last week, Crains took photos and videos and shared them on Instagram.
“I think she wanted to make things fun,” said Amanda’s mother, Michelle. “It’s difficult for Noah. But I guess the list was for everyone what school (and life) looks like.”
However, making a list is not the only thing Amanda and the other Crains are good at.

Meet Crains
The entire Crain family was raised on the iPhone screen, while FaceTiming on Sunday, Sam Crain, the second oldest siblings, held in his arms one of the family’s two cats.
The cat’s name is Plato.
So how old is a cat named after a famous philosopher?
“Forty in feline years!” Noah, the youngest, said.
“Four or five,” his mother added as the rest of the Crain clan tweeted at Noah’s answer.
Welcome to the Crain family of Northboroug. They provide entertainment and entertainment on social media in the midst of a world centered around COVID-19.
“I love it, it’s fun,” Michelle said as she asked to describe her family. “Close. Very supportive.”
Here’s a brief gang breakthrough:
• Ethan (47, dad and structural engineer)
• Michelle (46, mom, home)
• Jacob (20, student at Institute of Technology)
• Sam (18, freshman at Springfield College)
• Amanda (age 15, Algonquin Regional High School)
• Noah (10, fourth grade of Proctor Elementary School)
And when it comes to sports, fashion and photography – Crains does it all.

Football family
Sam Crain broke a ring on his left arm in fourth grade. The injuries occurred when he “ran” for his school’s crusade team.
“I was fighting with one of my friends before practice,” Sam said. “He jumped on my back and broke my pinch.”
Finger disease ended his football career in fourth grade. At least until he moved to Northborough in eighth grade.
That year, however, Sam didn’t play much.
“He basically rode on the bench,” said his father, Ethan.
By the time Sam was a junior at Algonquin, he was the originator of variation. The following year, Sam was named the Tomahawks’ senior captain.
“It was a lot of hard work that he put in,” Ethan said.
Sam’s father watched all his football matches in Algonquin. But Ethan wasn’t just looking; photographed.
“I’ve always been interested in photography,” Ethan said. “I took photos from the age of ten or ten. It wasn’t until Samuel was in seventh or eighth grade that I started to take myself more seriously.”
Last fall, Sam was a kickback on the Springfield College football team. He has appeared in five games and recorded seven draws.
“It’s nice to know I can still play,” Sam said. “It gives me something to do.”
“It’s nice to see,” Ethan said. “You can see Sam has an impact on Noah as well as with football, and he cares about Samuel.”
Noah is a left-hander in his youth soccer team. “I like having to push people to the ground,” he said.
“It gives me an excuse to keep taking photos,” his father said.
And the pictures – whether you take them or make them for modeling – are what the other two Crain brothers love to do best.

I had 3 oldest brothers and sisters from the Crain family from Northborough who sent me their favorite pictures.
Here’s James, 20, Sam, 18, and Amanda’s, 15, my favorite photos, followed by a picture I took of a six-year-old from a FaceTime chat.

Fashion family
Last November, Jacob Crain visited his family in Northborough for Thanksgiving break.
When Jacob arrived home from New York after modeling at a fashion show, he stayed up until 2pm to talk about fashion with his sister Amanda, while they both tried on clothes and took pictures.
“How many girls can do that with an older brother?” Michelle said.
In Algonquin, Jacob was known as a “fashion kid.”
He immersed himself in the industry when he was 15 years old by buying shoes and designer clothes online. He would then download these items and sell them online.
Now, the avid red-haired fashion student, who runs @Flava_Flames on Instagram, owns a clothing store (Sonder) and a clothing brand (2600 collectives).
He is currently living his dream of fashion in a concrete jungle.
“I had a complete aesthetic change while in New York,” Jacob said. “It’s crazy how much you can change through your environment.”
The younger sister is also interested in fashion. But she doesn’t exactly follow in Jacob’s footsteps.
“When Jacob went into fashion, I was influenced,” Amanda said. “But I think I took a different path.”
When she was in seventh grade, Amanda put together her clothes and began to worry more about dressing.
A few years later, she buys clothes from thrift stores before tailoring, tying and painting them.
She then creates these threads on her Instagram account (@ amanda.linh) and on her YouTube channel (Amanda Linh).
“I really enjoy enchanting pieces that don’t seem to have too much potential,” she said, “(and) turning them into something different and unique.”
“I almost watched her grow and everything I used to do now works,” Brother Jacob said. “It’s great to watch her do what I did, but faster, faster and earlier.”

Family favorites
In addition to their last names, Jacob and Noah Crain also share a striking resemblance: their hair.
The two Crain boys are redheads.
“They tend to stand out,” the father said.
“It’s a gift,” Jacob said.
When Jacob was two years old, a woman approached his father and asked if Jacob had colored hair.
“I mean, he’s two?” Ethan said. The answer was no.
When Michelle was two years old, she moved from Ho Chi Minh City (commonly known as Saigon) in southern Vietnam to Malden.
“Being a half-Asian with two red heads is really crazy,” Michelle said.
“Weird,” Ethan added.
And this past week things got a little weird in the Crain household.
– Monday (3/30): Crazy sock day
– Tuesday (3/31): Twins Day
– Wednesday (4/1): White
– Thursday (4/2): Dressing Day as a T.V.-Character
– Friday (4/3): Sample Day
Of the five themed days, Sam, Noah and Michelle agreed that their “Day pattern” was their favorite.
Two fashionistas – Jacob and Amanda – and Ethan said they had the best “Wednesday” best.
What was everyone’s favorite outfit?
“You dress like your favorite TV character,” Michelle said. “Zoe Hart is the main character of Hart of Dixie and she has a really good style.”
“White,” Ethan said. “I had no idea what I was going to do five minutes before. So I remembered we had this costume five years ago. It’s the man who stays lipstick.”
You know, the same giant swamp shepherd from Ghostbuster who may be a distant relative of a Michelin man?
As for the kids?
“Educational day,” Noah said.
“It’s white day because I had the most fun,” Amanda said. “We took pictures and made TikTok. It took us a while.”
“My favorite outfit was the TV character,” Sam said.
He dressed up as the famous already deceased “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin.
“My favorite was when we were doing the TV character,” Jacob said. “I was Jim from The Office. Jim hits three holes. It was funny to see.”
What people saw last week via social media was the Crain family having fun during quarantine.
It all began with a list made by Amanda, culminating in a bond stronger between her four siblings and their parents.
“I feel like each of the kids supports or reposts things, and they support the other in what they do,” Ethan said.
“I love how much my kids love each other,” Michelle said.

Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
