Taylor Russell Dons Black Leather Dress at Academy Museum Gala
On October 14, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held its second annual museum gala in Los Angeles, honoring its institution dedicated to film (fun fact: it’s the largest museum in the world).
Like the annual Met Gala, the Academy Gala saw the biggest names in the film industry take to the red carpet in their most stylish leads, with the best look of the night arguably coming from Taylor Russell.
The Canadian actress donned a black leather dress with an open back and a cutout stopping just above her bum. Fresh from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway, Russell’s dress also featured a halter top that provided major side boob action.and pocket behavior.
Russell completed the look with leather gloves, patent Louboutin pumps and a short curl hairstyle with subtle accessories to let the dress have its moment.
Ultimately, Russell’s look was sexy, functional and irresistible. But this isn’t the first (and hopefully not the last) time the actress has caught the eye on the red carpet.
