Jemima Goldsmith puts sprawling west London mansion on the market for £6.5m

Jemima Goldsmith has put her west London mansion on the market for £6.5 million.

Friends of the TV and film producer say she is looking for a fresh start now that her sons and daughter-in-law have moved away.

Ms Goldsmith, known professionally as Jemima Khan, bought the five-bedroom London property, Britannia Studios, in 1999, while she was married to cricketer and former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan.

She has now decided to sell the house.

“After almost 30 years here, my children moved away and I finally decided to move,” Ms Goldsmith told the Mail on Sunday.

Visitors have compared the property, located on the Chelsea-Fulham border, to a New York loft, with its 49ft open-plan living space and interiors blending faded grandeur and bohemian comfort.

Ms Goldsmith – daughter of the late financier Sir James Goldsmith and his second wife Lady Annabel Goldsmith – divorced Mr Khan in 2004.

Friends reportedly told the Mail on Sunday that his attachment to Britannia Studios waned after his mother died in October, aged 91.

The newspaper also revealed last month that Ms Goldsmith was engaged to James O’Reilly, son of the late Irish media mogul Sir Anthony O’Reilly.

Friends say she now plans to split her time between Mr O’Reilly’s home in Switzerland and his £15 million mansion in the Cotswolds.
