Trump reacts to artists abandoning Freedom 250 concert: ‘Cancel it’

President Donald Trump wants to cancel the Freedom 250 concert and instead wants to hold a Make America Great Again rally. His latest missive follows him, initially recommending that he perform himself following the sudden exits of artists booked for the event dubbed the “Great American State Fair on National Mall” in Washington DC.

“We should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for $250, instead of having overpriced singers that no one wants to hear, whose music is boring and yet all they do is complain,” he posted on Truth Social Saturday afternoon. “Cancel it, just like I canceled my involvement in the failure and danger of being at the Kennedy Center, because a very conflicted and crooked federal judge said I should not be allowed to spend my time and money to MAKE THE CENTER GREAT AGAIN, in fact, much bigger than it has ever been before!”

It appears Trump is still unhappy with the ruling by U.S. District Judge Casey Cooper, who determined that the Kennedy Center “cannot bear any other official name or public memorial based on the Council’s unilateral decision” on Friday. The judge also ordered that officials remove all signage from the Kennedy Center bearing Trump’s name within two weeks.

Trump continued in his Saturday afternoon message: “It would also have been nice to see a Republican/Democratic union bring it back to life. The Kennedy Center is crumbling, dangerous and destroyed, and has been for many years!
