PDI Perjuangan values the relations between Megawati and Prabowo still maintained even if they are in different policies
Jakarta, Gesuri.id – PDI Perjuangan believes that the relationship between PDI Perjuangan General Chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri and President Prabowo Subianto is maintained even though they occupy different political positions.
Chairman of the DPP of PDI Perjuangan Said Abdullah said the relationship between the two was supported by three aspects, namely long-standing friendship, political acumen and national political views.

He said the relationship between the two was maintained even though the PDI Perjuangan nominated Joko Widodo in the 2014 presidential election and faced Prabowo in the political competition at that time.

He said Megawati is currently still the chairman of the steering committee of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
According to him, President Prabowo continues to trust Megawati to carry out his state duties even though the PDI Perjuangan is not part of the government.

Said added that Megawati and Prabowo have the same view regarding the importance of strengthening Pancasila values through public institutions such as BPIP.

According to him, President Prabowo always respects PDI Perjuangan’s position as a balanced party, including various contributions submitted by party cadres to parliament.
