Doctor Tifa calls the prosecutor’s indictment weak: error in Persona and Objecto
JAKARTA – The accused in the defamation and slander case related to the fake diploma of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Tifauzia Tyassuma alias Doctor Tifa, said that the indictment of the Attorney General (JPU) who indicted him was a mistake of person and object. Tifa conveyed this after attending the hearing to read the exception at the East Jakarta District Court, Thursday (9/7/2026).
Tifa said character and objection errors in the prosecutor’s indictment made the charges against her weak.
“After thoroughly studying the indictment submitted to me, it contained two main weaknesses, which meant that the trial on my behalf as the accused could no longer continue, namely that there was error of objection and error of person,” Tifa said at the East Jakarta District Court, Thursday (9/7/2026).
Tifa explained that the object error mentioned was the prosecutor’s error regarding the object accused. During this time, Tifa said, she and Roy Suryo conducted research on Jokowi’s digital diploma which was uploaded by Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) politician Dian Sandi.
Tifa explained that she had never commented on anything regarding the diploma recognized by Jokowi. This is because Jokowi never uploaded his diploma.
“We have not carried out any study or comment on the digital documents recognized by brother Joko Widodo. Because in fact, brother Joko Widodo does not have a diploma in digital form,” Tifa explained.
“We are all confused, we have been waiting for 11 years, there has never been an appearance of the diploma document. So it is clear that the prosecutor’s allegations or accusations are wrong in their subject matter, yes,” he continued.
Regarding personality errors or legal subject errors, Tifa believes this is related to Jokowi’s report on this matter. Because according to him, the place and time linked to the reports always change.
For example, Tifa admitted that she was initially interviewed as a witness in a case where the criminal incident report occurred on January 22, 2025. On that date, Tifa admitted that she was not at the location and time in question at all.
The location and time of the case changed more and more during the investigation process. Even in the indictment, the location and pace of the incident were changed again between March 30 and May 2025.
“So this is clearly a mistake personally and objectively. Because how is it possible to report an incident that had not yet occurred at the time of the police report? He reported on April 30, 2025 an incident that occurred in May 2025. This is something completely unreasonable,” he stressed.
Previously, the defendant in the defamation and slander case related to the fake diploma of the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Tifauzia Tyassuma (dr Tifa), asked the judge to grant her opposition brief. In the same vein, Tifa also asked the judge to declare that the indictment of the Attorney General (JPU) could not be accepted.
“Declaring the Attorney General’s indictment unacceptable. Registration number: PDM-133/M.1.14/Eoh.2/06/2026 (Niet Ontvankelijke Verklaard),” Tifa’s lawyer Abdullah Alkatiri said at the East Jakarta District Court, Thursday (9/7/2026).
Tifa’s camp considers that the indictment cannot be accepted because the prosecutor has lost the right to prosecute. Because, Abdullah said, there was a withdrawal of complaint regarding the same matter.
“To declare the prosecution’s indictment null and void because it is vague, reckless and violates the principle of legality (Obscuur Libel),” he continued.
