ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) – Minnesota is known as the ‘state of hockey’, but according to a WalletHub surveySt. Paul is not among the top 10 cities in the country for sports.

WalletHub published a survey on Wednesday of the best hockey cities in America. Despite being a hockey hotbed, home to the Minnesota Wild and state high school tournaments, St. Paul and Grand Casino Arena did not place in the top 10 of the survey.

WalletHub says it compared 75 U.S. cities based on 21 key metrics, ranging from the area’s professional and college teams to minimum season ticket prices and stadium capacity.

That’s despite the fact that Grand Casino Arena regularly fills its more than 19,000 seats for Minnesota Wild games.
