Coronavirus: English Premier League adjourns until April 3 – BBC News

Elite football in Britain has been suspended for at least April 3 as a result of coronavirus spread.

All matches for the English Premier League, EFL, FA Women's Super League and Women's Championship are delayed.

The Premier League has said the game will start on 4 April under the condition "at the time", but BBC sports director Dan Roan says starting the date is considered "almost impossible" in private.

Matches in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are also canceled.
