CAN contributes Rs 2 million to PM Disaster Relief Fund for Jajarkot earthquake victims – myRepublica

KATHMANDU, FEB 24: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has contributed Rs 2 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to help those affected by the earthquake in Jajarkot.

CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand and Secretary Paras Khadka handed over a check for the said amount to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today.

CAN has announced that 50 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales for the final match between Nepal and Oman as part of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Asia Qualifiers will be provided to the Jajarkot earthquake victims. According to CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, the combined amount of Rs 2 million has been donated accordingly.
