Among other Andalusian provinces, the 4.3 magnitude earthquake on Friday, March 15, whose epicenter was felt in the Alboran Sea, was felt by some towns in Almería. The National Geographic Institute (IGN) confirmed that the earthquake occurred at 9.17 pm at a depth of 16 km. An additional 15 aftershocks were also felt in various areas including Jaen, Granada and Malaga.

Although the earthquake was not felt strongly in Almeria, where its magnitude was about 2 degrees, the earthquake was felt with a strength ranging between 2 and 3 degrees.

More than 33 earthquakes in the past 24 hours
