India PM carries the rites of Modi temple in the holy site

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the groundwork for the Hindu temple north of Ayodhya. Hindu mobs demolished a medieval mosque in 1992, saying it was built on the ruins of a Ram Ram temple that was a glorious god. Hindus and Muslims claimed ownership over the decades. Last year, the high court handed over the site to the Hindu, ending a decade-long judicial struggle. The inauguration occurred amid a tremendous rise in coronavirus cases in India.
