Beirut explosion: architect rebuilds family homes for free – BBC News

An architect and his team have been rebuilding houses for free, in the poorest areas of Beirut, because even those most affected by the August 4 explosion were close to the port. Joe Salloum, who says the Lebanese government is not providing enough support to those who have lost their homes, has renovated 22 homes in quarantine and built a new children’s center.
