Feed stores in Las Vegas warn customers to use ivermectin to treat COVID-19. COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection)
Las Vegas (FOX5)-The FDA warns people that “you are not a horse.”
Today, local retailers are saying the same to their customers. The FDA has sent recommendations to retailers to warn people about the use of the veterinary drug ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic drug for horses, cows and sheep.
The manager of V & V Tack and Feed said he saw many people come to the store to buy ivermectin because he believes ivermectin is infected with COVID-19.
The store put up a sign next to the product saying “Only horses. Don’t eat this.”
“The number of ivermectin calls has increased significantly,” said store manager Sherry Smith. “Sales of ivermectin have increased significantly, and there is no doubt that horse owners are not always buying ivermectin.”
Smith said there is so much demand not only in Las Vegas, but across the country that stores cannot replace inventory of products. Managers say it’s not a typical season and horses will need to be further treated with anthelmintics in the fall and winter.
Smith said he would not sell ivermectin to people without horses.
“I want to see pictures of you and your horse. I just love to see pictures of your horse. I don’t know the horse man on this planet who doesn’t have a lot of pictures of you and your horse.” Smith said. .. “Do not eat bleach or eat horse bugs. Do not put it in your mouth.”

The FDA has not proven that ivermectin is safe for humans or effective as a treatment for COVID-19, and that animal foods can cause serious health effects, including death.
According to the FDA, toxic control centers across the United States are experiencing a surge in the number of people suffering from adverse health effects after taking ivermectin in animals.
