Atlantic County will make Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine available to children aged 6 months to 18 years through a series of clinics starting Thursday.
The vaccine will be available next week on 201 S. Shore Road in Northfield from 1 pm to 3 pm and at Bellview Avenue 310 in Hammonton every Thursday in July from 10 am to noon. County health officials said on Friday that they had to make an appointment first.
The additional clinic will be held on July 11th from 10am to noon at the All Wars Memorial Building on 1510 Adriatic Avenue in Atlantic City. No reservations are required for the clinic, officials said in a news release.
Each clinic contains a recently approved vaccine for children aged 6 months to 4 years. It is given in a primary triple dose set, where the first two doses are given at 3-week intervals, followed by a third dose at least 8 weeks after the second dose, officials said.

Shore Road in Northfield from 9am to noon and for residents over the age of 18 from 10am to noon on the 1st and 3rd. We will continue to provide all three COVID-19 vaccines. Officials said a mask and proof of previous COVID-19 vaccination were required to enter the clinic area.
