A 30-year-old traveler who recently visited the United States, Canada and the Philippines has reported the first case of monkeypox in Hong Kong, health officials said.
A man engaged in an unspecified high-risk activity developed viral symptoms during the mandatory COVID-19 quarantine.He developed his sore throat and difficulty swallowing on the first day of quarantine, and had developed a rash a few days earlier, Bloomberg citing government officials.
