Scientists report airborne coronavirus is probably infectious

Joshua Santarpia, an associate professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, told AFP that collecting samples was “practically difficult.”
The team used a cellphone-sized device for this purpose, but said “concentrations are usually very low and the material is unlikely to be recovered.”
Scientists have taken air samples from five beds of bedridden patients at a height of about 1 foot (30 cm) above the feet of the bed.
