The researchers found that shrimp and lobster contained the highest concentrations of PFAS, with average levels of specific PFAS compounds ranging from 1.74 nanograms to 3.30 nanograms per gram of meat. Concentrations of individual PFAS in other seafood were determined to be less than 1 nanogram per gram.
