A new study from the Massachusetts General Hospital and Children’s General Hospital found that children infected with COVID-19 have higher levels of the virus in the respiratory tract than adults hospitalized for illness.

However, at least one Connecticut health expert said the study did not prove an increase in viral infections among young children.
In this study, published last week in the Journal of Pediatrics, researchers tracked 192 children aged 0 to 22 years.
