305 new COVID-19 cases reported in Iowa
(KTIV)-Health authorities in Iowa report that 12,062 people have completed the vaccine series and a total of 1,216,277 have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The state’s COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard shows that residents of Iowa have been vaccinated a total of 2,441,825 times.
Between 10 am Wednesday and 10 am Thursday, there were 305 new confirmed cases in the state. So far, Iowa reports that 368,773 people have tested positive for the virus.
Of those who tested positive, 353,564 recovered, an increase of 484 from Wednesday.
Iowa’s COVID-19 dashboard has no additional deaths, bringing the total to 5,989.
Subtracting the total number of cases (368,773) minus the number of recovery (353,564) and the number of deaths (5,994) shows that there are currently 9,215 active positive cases.
According to the latest report from the Iowa Public Health Service, there are 162 viral hospitalizations, out of 163 reported Wednesday. Of them, 36 are in the ICU and 17 are in the ventilator.
