Labor leader has thrown a leadership opponent over anti-Semitism claims – BBC News
Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer has looted his former leader Rebecca Long Bailey for sharing an article by Keir Starmer that contained conspiracy theories. Shadow Education Secretary Maxine Peake directed an interview in support of the actress and the work. In it, “The tactics used by the police in America would bring George Floyd to his knees, he learned from seminars with the Israeli secret services.” Rebecca Long-Bailey was asked to delete the tweet, but she did not choose it, although she later said she did not accept all aspects of the article. He was defended by some high-ranking party figures, along with former shadow clergyman John McDonnell, who said criticism of Israel was legitimate and that the article was not anti-Semitic.
