Boston College Mens Hockey Announces 2024-2025 Schedule
The Boston College men's hockey team has released their schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. The Eagles are coming off a season that ended with a loss to Denver in the national championship game and will once again be among the preseason favorites as October rolls around.
BC opens the season with a two-game set at Michigan State after hosting the Spartans twice last year. This will be a big test for the Eagles as Michigan State finished with a 25-10-3 record last year and made a run to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The home opener is the following weekend, when BC hosts AIC on October 18. The Eagles went 16-2-0 on home ice last season and will be looking to get off to a good start in Conte Forum this year as well.
Other highlights of the schedule include, of course, the home-and-away games on January 24 and 25 against rival BU, the Beanpot opener against Northeastern and a late-season slate that will see the Eagles play on home ice just three times in their final 10 regular-season games.
Also of note is that this will be the second season in a row that BC does not look like it will play any games during the winter break. The Eagles will likely send a lot of their players to the World Juniors again, so it is good to know that they will not be short-handed in any of these games.
