No Man's Sky renews the world with World Part 1 update (video)
No Man's Sky and its publisher and developer Hello Games have had quite an incredible journey. After a fairly harsh launch in 2016, when critics and players panned the game for not being everything the marketing campaign had promised, the game has since evolved over the years through a wealth of free updates, with more to come. Now, with the release of Worlds Part 1, No Man's Sky is richer and more fun to explore.
The latest update comes at no extra cost after more than 20 expansion-like additions to the space exploration game. It's yet another major refresh of the procedurally generated universe you can explore solo or with friends online. Among the latest and biggest features and reworks are new creatures, upgraded water visuals, more diverse sky and cloudscapes, additional atmospheric diversity and weather conditions, and all-new biomes.
Not only that, but there are also new gameplay additions, such as the ability to rename previous discoveries and the introduction of combat mechs.
