The reports compare July 2024 to last year. WJCL 22 NEWS’ Kieron Neveu joins us live from Pooler, Kentucky. Can you tell us what changes you’ve seen? Emma – The highlight of the report was that the number of car accidents this year surpassed last year’s total. From January 1st through July 31st… Fire departments responded to 346 car accidents. In 2023, that total is 342. Let’s take a look at some of those accident numbers. In July alone of this year, departments responded to 60 car accidents. That’s nearly 14 percent of their calls that month… second only to emergency medical calls. Fires actually had the least calls. When comparing July of this year to last year… the department had a decrease in call volume. In July of this year, firefighters received 30 fewer calls. But the year as a whole was up. I'll share how this year's calls outpaced last year's… next one at six. Kieron, thanks so much for this live report. Happening today… Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance… will be visiting Georgia. It was a night of music, celebrity and politics on Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention. Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz takes center stage. ABC's Jacqueline Lee reports from Chicago. Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention was filled with powerhouses John Legend, Stevie Wonder and Oprah Winfrey lighting up the United Center. Former President Bill Clinton thanks Joe Biden for his service and willingness to relinquish political power. Oprah Winfrey criticizes Trump for his age and temperament, and is greeted with thunderous applause. Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance’s interview on childless women is targeted “When a house burns down, we don’t ask what race or religion the owners are. We just try to do our best to save them. And if the place belongs to a cat lady with no children. Well, we try to make her.” The cat got out, too. But for Democrats, the real star of the night was vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, who took a call from Kamala Harris, a public school teacher, his Midwestern neighbor and his most important role, father. “It took Gwen and I years, but we had access to fertility treatments. And when our daughter was born, we named her Hope. Hope. And I love you,” he said. One of the most poignant moments of the night — Walz’s son, Gus, who has a nonverbal learning disorder, sobbed as he appeared to say “This is my father” as Walz attacked former President Trump, warning that Harris’ opponents were a threat to democracy. Walz said: It’s an agenda that serves no one but the wealthiest people and the most extreme voices in our country. An agenda that does nothing for our neighbors in need. Is that weird? Sure. But it’s also wrong. In his speech, he compared the election to a football game — saying we’re in the fourth quarter and Kamala Harris is ready to win and serve. JL ABC CHICAGO SAVANNAH MAYOR VAN JOHNSON is currently in Chicago as a DNC delegate. He says he highlighted some of the city’s key accomplishments … for other Democrats. “I was featured in a video talking about what we were able to do with the bipartisan infrastructure bill in Savannah, how we were able to build affordable housing, and the grant opportunities including the $30 million FEMA Jobs Grant,” “This was the largest FEMA infrastructure grant in its history.” We asked Mayor Johnson if Vice President Harris would be coming back to Savannah… after Debbie canceled her last trip. He said she would be here… all they had to do was schedule it. Here’s a look at your 22nd traffic route. No problems on the roads this morning

What Are The Main Benefits Of Comparing Car Insurance Quotes Online

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 24, 2020, / Compare-autoinsurance.Org has launched a new blog post that presents the main benefits of comparing multiple car insurance quotes. For more info and free online quotes, please visit https://compare-autoinsurance.Org/the-advantages-of-comparing-prices-with-car-insurance-quotes-online/ The modern society has numerous technological advantages. One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
