Wondolowski slams Real Salt Lake owner’s comments: “It pisses me off”

On Wednesday, the San Jose Earthquakes were one of 10 teams in the Major League Soccer to join a strike by US professional athletes to protest racial inequality. After the match against the Portland Timbers was not held, Earthquakes captain Chris Wondolowski spoke to reporters Thursday afternoon about the decision, the fight for equality and more in a broad discussion.

I know I won’t I would like to play for this owner and I think those were very harmful remarks. “

Rumors are circulating that the MLS Board of Governors will meet soon to discuss Hansen’s case with RSL, so we’ll see if any action is taken against the owner.
