County Adds Cases Over the Weekend | Coronavirus Latest
Harrisburg-Lawrence County added a new positive COVID-19 case over the weekend, a health official in Pennsylvania reported.
The county has increased its total to 454 — this includes 396 confirmed and 59 chances. There were no new cases on Saturday.
There have been 6,647 negative tests since the beginning of the pandemic.
UPMC Jameson is hospitalized with 6 COVID-19 patients, down 2 from Friday. No patient is on a ventilator.
No new cases were reported among employees or patients at eight Lawrence County care facilities.
Cumulatively, 51 employees and 41 patients have been diagnosed with the virus. Eight people died at these facilities.
According to the State Department of Health, an additional 670 people were virus-positive across Pennsylvania, according to Sunday figures, reaching 133,504 people across the state since the beginning of the pandemic.
Two new deaths were reported on Sunday throughout Pennsylvania.
The total death toll in the state is 7,673.
