Allegheny Co. Health Dept. Announces 54 Coronavirus Cases, Counting a Total of 9,969 Across County – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Allegheny County Health Department reports new 54 Coronavirus None of the 859 test results died this Thursday.
Of the 54 new cases, 53 have been confirmed and one is likely.
According to the Ministry of Health, the age of new cases is 12 to 83 years, with a median age of 27 years. The dates of positive tests ranged from September 2nd to September 9th.
The total number of cases across the county is now 10,969 since March.
The Ministry of Health said it is starting to count all positive antigen tests as possible cases.
There have been 1,042 hospitalizations in Allegheny County since the outbreak began. Of all hospitalized patients, 274 required ICU care and 104 required ventilator therapy.
The death toll is 358.

Since 14 March, 10,969 cases of COVID-19 have occurred, 1,042 have been hospitalized, and 358 have died in residents of Allegheny County.

Health officials said that as of Wednesday’s report, 159,771 people across the county were tested for COVID-19.
