Mexican migrant caravan on the road

People come to this town after walking in the wee hours of the morning, looking for somewhere to sleep, finding food, fixing their feet, and maybe even having a shower.

Most are aware of what President Trump was threatening. But looking mid-term and laying down his main support, President Trump said he would send another 5,000 troops to the Mexican border to combat the creation of a migrant caravan. For those families who are still 900 miles down the road, arriving, even starting a new life in America, remains a distant dream. We spent the last few days with the caravan on our way from Chiapas to Oaxaca – and that’s what we saw.
