Ontario reports that more than 2,400 new cases of coronavirus set another daily record

The state notes that the number of cases reported daily publicly may not match the number of cases reported by the local public health department on a particular day. The local public health unit will report when the case is first notified. This can be updated and changed when the information becomes available. Data may be pulled at different times.

Long-term care facility in Ontario

According to the Ministry of Long-Term Care, 2,446 deaths have been reported between residents and patients in long-term care homes throughout Ontario, an increase of four deaths.
