A 10-year-old girl, described by her family as “beautiful and inspiring,” died in a 12-month cancer battle.

The devastating announcement comes a week after her parents thank the people who followed Eva’s journey and their generosity and support “through the most tragic times.”

In a post shared on Facebook to commemorate Eva’s diagnosis 12 months, they said her daughter’s symptoms were “worse than ever.”

“For the last 12 months, you have supported us more than we could have imagined,” Paul wrote.

“Through the most tragic times, friends and strangers have treated us all, but most importantly, Eva as a family. I would like to thank you again and again this year. We thank you forever and hope to give something back. “

Over £ 325,000 was raised to support Eva after she was diagnosed on New Year’s Day 2020, when the family was told that the best thing was to make memories.

This money was used to fund high-dose folk medicine in an attempt to manage Eva’s exacerbating symptoms, as she had no treatment options available at the NHS.
