Coronavirus: linked to 11 other cases of the British “fully recovered” – BBC News

A Briton linked to 11 coronavirus cases has spoken for the first time saying he has “fully recovered” from the disease. Steve Walsh, Hove of East Sussex, contracted coronaviruses at a working conference in Singapore before returning to the UK on holiday to go to a French ski resort. There are five cases involving Mr Walsh in England, five in France and another in Mallorca, Spain. He was in the hospital in his forties, but the thought says they are with others who have contracted the virus.

In the UK 1,358 people have been tested for coronaviruses, eight of which have been confirmed positive. There are now more than 40,000 coronavirus cases worldwide. They have declared it a global health emergency. The death toll in China is 1,016.
