The Family of Walking Dead Actor Moses J Moseley Believe He Was Murdered

The family of Moses J Moseley, who rose to fame in iconic television series The Walking Dead, say the star was shot and did not die by suicide.

Mosely, 31, was found dead by police on Wednesday February 9, after being reported missing by his family on January 23.

According to a police report obtained by The daily mail, Moseley was discovered sitting in his car in Stockbridge, Georgia, with a gun planted in his lap and shot in the head at 7:41 p.m. Wednesday night.

Moseley’s car was locked and when the officer was able to open it, he identified the actor by the driver’s license also resting on his lap.

Moseley’s death is currently being investigated by Henry County police as a possible suicide, but according to TMZ, his family believe that the actor was “kidnapped and then killed three days later”.

Speaking to the publication, Moseley’s sister Teera Kimbro reportedly said the family knew Moses “loved life”. She reveals that her brother had a taping scheduled for Monday, February 7, that he didn’t show up for something he “would never do.”

She says Moseley loved where his career was headed and that he and his family had big plans for his future.

Kimbro also revealed that police investigators identified the weapon as one of his. She said TMZ she and Moseley liked going to the shooting range and that he had a firearms license.

Henry County Police Captain Randy Lee told the publication: ‘He is being investigated as a possible suicide, however, detectives are pursuing all available avenues and ruling nothing out.”

Moseley starred in The Walking Dead from 2012 to 2015. More recently, he had completed filming a new independent short titled Respect Cadillac.

At the time of Moseley’s death, director Christopher Michale Dailey expressed his grief over the news.

“Although the role was short, it was very meaningful to me and he handled it with great care and dedication,” he wrote on Facebook. “Now, when Cadillac Respect finally comes out, it will also be dedicated to the memory of Moses.”

Barely five weeks ago, to conclude 2021, Moseley shared some snaps from the year and a sweet thank you message to his Instagram.
