Man repeatedly run over in Southington Adult Entertainment Club car park
A man is in stable condition after being repeatedly intentionally run over in the parking lot of an adult entertainment club.
The incident happened in Southington around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, October 21, at the Hollywood Cabaret on Queen Street.
Southington Police Chief Keith Egan said officers responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the parking lot of the Hollywood Cabaret, located at 1104 Queen St.
A pedestrian was reported lying in the parking lot after being hit by a Honda Accord, Egan said.
Upon arrival, officers found a man lying on the ground in the parking lot. The victim was alive but had a large open wound in his left lower abdomen, as well as serious injuries to both legs, the chief said.
The victim was transported by AMR to Saint Francis Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. At that time, his condition was reported as stable, he added.
An investigation revealed that the pedestrian was crossing the parking lot of the Hollywood Cabaret at the time. Jason Feldblum, 49, address unknown, was driving into the same parking lot in his 2017 Honda Accord.
Feldblum went to turn into a parking space and ran over the victim. It then moved forward and backward several times over the victim before moving away from him, Egan said.
Feldblum was arrested for DUI, but that investigation is still ongoing, he added.
