LOS ANGELES (AP) North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, moves from Paw Patrol to another animal project: A Star-Studded Lion King Concert.
West joins a cast including Heather Headley, Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Jennifer Hudson and Lebo M for the concert, scheduled for May 24 and 25 at the Hollywood Bowl.
The two-night event titled Disney's The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl will be filmed and a full orchestra will perform Hans Zimmer's Academy Award-winning music. The actors will perform songs and numbers featuring the costumes, set design and puppets from the Broadway production.
West, 10, has voiced the role of Mini in recent years PAW Patrol: The Powerful Movie, alongside Taraji P. Henson, Kristen Bell and James Marsden. She was featured on the single “Speak/Again, a collaboration between his father and Ty Dolla $ign.
