Coachella headliner Lana Del Rey donned not one, but two Swarovski crystal-embellished Dolce & Gabbana dresses for her performance on Friday. The annual music festival, held in Indio, California, spans two weekends.
Styled by Molly Dickson, Del Rey's opening ensemble was a sky blue draped jersey dress, featuring a subtle center front cutout and adorned entirely with Swarovski crystals. She completed the look with crystal embellished cowboy boots. Her backup dancers also wore shimmering blue outfits in similar hues, complemented by teal cowboy boots. At the start of her set, she welcomed Jon Batiste on stage to play their collaboration “Candy Necklace” while she sat at her piano.
Del Rey's second outfit was another custom blue dress from Dolce & Gabbana adorned with Swarovski crystals. The piece has been fully embroidered with chains of Swarovski crystals, incorporating a braided pattern enhanced with fringe and rose details. The dress was completed with a belt that flowed into a dramatic 30-foot train. She left the show on the back of a motorcycle wearing this dress.
The artist last wore D&G at the 2022 Venice Film Festival, where she donned a custom black lace dress made by the Italian fashion house.
Del Rey was recently featured as the face of Skims' Valentine's Day 2024 campaign.
The first weekend of Coachella 2024 saw an exciting lineup of artists, including Travis Scott, Lizzo and Tame Impala, among others.
