Liputan6.com, Jakarta – President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2024 electric vehicle exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday (3/5/2024) afternoon.
The country's number one personality was accompanied by Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang, Minister of Investment/BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Presidential Chief of Staff and President General of Periklindo, Moeldoko, and Acting Governor of Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono.
Jokowi visited several exhibitor stands, such as NEU, Keeway EV, BYD, Mobil Anak Bangsa (MAB) and PT PLN (Persero).
Apart from this, the President also visited the Asiabike Jakarta exhibition area in Hall A, JIExpo Kemayoran, such as Yadea, Sunra, Aima and Tailg.

He is optimistic that Indonesia will have its own electric vehicle ecosystem in the future. The reason is that in terms of production, Indonesia still has enormous potential.
