Jokowi assessed that Ridwan Kamilma was capable of solving spatial problems, traffic jams, flooding and pollution in Jakarta.
“In these regional elections, the question is how can we be sure that these problems can be resolved? My answer is simple: a balance sheet,” Jokowi said.
Jokowi said Ridwan Kamil was mayor. In fact, he said, in a small management area, managing a city is not easy.
“And he already has that experience. Secondly, in a broader management framework, namely as governor, he also has experience,” Jokowi said.
The former mayor of Solo said that the most important thing is that Ridwan Kamil also has the appropriate knowledge. Thus, he said, it would be suitable for regulating Jakarta's land use planning.
